The Division of Pathology (Forensic Medicine) offers a range of courses designed for professionals and individuals wishing to broaden their knowledge and understanding of all things "forensic".
COURSES DELIVERED ONLINE
Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/Masters in Forensic Medicine & Science. This modular and flexible postgraduate course is designed to addresss the demand for online forensic education suitable for working prfessionals and others with an interest in studying the forensic disciplines. The course emphasises the multidisciplinary nature of "forensic" and individual courses have been written by recognised experts in the discipline. Please note that the Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/Masters is not a vocational training course and should not be seen as a direct entry route to employment in, for example, a forensic science laboratory.

COURSES TAUGHT IN EDINBURGHAutopsy Training Programme. In collaboration with NHS forensic pathologists the University can offer training packages. These can be tailored to suit individual needs and includes training for those aiming for the Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence.
Certificate in Forensic Medicine & Science. An introductory course delivered face-to-face exploring aspects of forensic medicine and science.
The Open Studies Programme. A short introductory course is offered as part of The University's Open Studies Programme within the Office of Lifelong Learning.
Masters Programme in Forensic Anthropology. This Masters programme is delivered by the School of Arts, Culture and Environment, University of Edinburgh. Please contact the programme directly for information.
RESEARCH DEGREE PROGRAMME

You should include a very brief statement of your intended research topic (which should reflect the interests of the staff of the Division of Pathology). Please note that a potential student will be required to submit a formal research proposal which will be considered by the Postgraduate Committee.
